Hey, y’all! I’m Mayumi and I honestly have no idea what I am doing. I have figured out my 26 years of life thus far thanks to friends, family, and trusty Google. I wanted to create a platform where we can share lessons, complain about how unfair life is, and give each other words of encouragement as we trek through what seems impossible daily.
I know, personally, I struggle through career woes, relationship rollercoasters, remembering to make my doctor appointments, and personal stresses, all while trying to understand what the government expects of you as an “adult” like taxes. I want to share what I’ve figured out to help others, like yourself, and make things a little bit easier.
We’re going to talk about relationships, common adulting stuff, mental and physical health, and share my favorite budget buys.
I want us to be real and get into some personal stuff here. I’m currently working through traumas and mental health issues (as are most people my age) and if I can help you have at least one good day, I’d call that success.
You have to work on yourself in your 20s ’cause if you don’t, then you’ll turn 30, and all the shitty parts of your personality will solidify, and that’ll just be who you are now. Your 20s are an opportunity to fish trash out of the lake before it freezes over.Taylor Tomlinson, Quarter Life Crisis
